This is a 1973-made, tang safety rifle that retains practically all of the original blue finish on the metal, and the early style flat-handled bolt has some minor wear marks along the body. The checkered walnut stock has virtually no wear, and is outfitted with a red Ruger recoil pad. The rifle is housed in the original, numbered Ruger cardboard shipping box with original papers, hang-tag, and scope rings. Also included is a 2022-dated Ruger factory letter that lists a shipping date of February, 1973 to Bernard E. Gitlin Co. of Hartford, CT. This is a practically new-in-box, early Model 77, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R SOLD |
