This is a ca. 1903-made revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, latch, and extractor. The metal retains 98-99% of the original nickel-plated finish, which has some mild freckling starting to form on tip of the hinge screw, scattered minor surface scratches, and a mild turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder. The trigger guard and latch retain a commensurate amount of the original blue finish, and the trigger has about 75-80% of the original color case-hardening remaining. The hard rubber grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. Both panels are in fine shape with few handling marks and very little flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent example of a 4th Model "Lemon Squeezer" overall, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R; SOLD |
