Description:
Winchester 97, 12 Gauge, take-down model, S/N 1005607 is of late mfr. (cir. 1955). The barrel has been shortened to 20" and the metal reblued without excessive polishing so as not to disturb the printing. There appears to be no imperfections on the barrel and only a couple slight dings on the receiver. The wood to metal fit appears to be almost perfect. The wood appears to have been replaced with more attractive pieces, and the finish appears to be extremely well done. The bore appears to be in mint condition, the action funtions very well, and only light wear on the moving parts. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. Payment by certified check or postal money order.
