PRICE REDUCED! Superb metal work on this Custom 1909 Argentine barreled action. From the personal collection of Jerry Fisher. No makers mark on this work. I assume Jerry did the work, but good work is good work. Threading on barrel is second to none. This cut rifled barrel chambered for 338 Winchester Magnum is also unmarked, possibly a Paul Marquart barrel ? This piece has been stored away from some time there is some very light spots of patina but nothing a pass over it with 320 and some skilled hands won't take care of. The interior of the reciver could use a final stone and polish. Range tested and shoots minute of angle or better. functions properly Great piece of work . Priced well below half of what todays cost would be.

Re heat treated 1909 Argentine reciever and bolt.
Custom bolt handle, tight fitting and smooth bolt
Custom 2 position safety with button
Exterior metal above wood line has been stoned and polished
Custom bolt stop
Receiver and bolt face properly opened up for short magnum cartridge and proper feeding
Pre commercial Blackburn bottom metal using the original 1909 box, adding a straddle floorplate and button lever ( 3 cartridges down in box )
Older Blackburn trigger
Custom cut rifled, 23 inch barrel, custom soldered on quarter rib, barrel band sling stud and banded front ramp.
Drilled and tapped for 8-40 screws ( I added the Talley bases for range testing)
Barreled action weight 5.75 lbs.
Generic pattern stock available for extra charge of $750
