Description:
On hold,Trenton contract model 1861 rifled musket in very good Cond. Came out of age old West Va. collection. This gun is not refinished and stock is solid with a rich deep tone and N.J. stamped. All steel parts are smooth with sharp markings and age stain patina. Rifled bore is very good. Barrel length is 39 and 3/4 inches and band springs are perfect. Holds half and fullcock with strong mainspring. Gun is 100% original and never sanded or steel wool used on it like so many. A good looking Civil War musket at a good price!
