"British 1842 Pattern Coast Guard Percussion Pistol. Dated 1842. Early pattern lock crown VR and tower marked and dated on lock. The overall condition is very good plus. Action works perfectly. Stock is very good plus with sharp edges and has 2 or 3 tiny dings, no cracks or chips. Lock markings are sharp and clear. Barrel has a captive Ramrod. Bottom of butt is missing the lanyard ring stud. This is a very hard to find coast guard pistol in fine condition.
