Description:
This is a beautiful rifle! Marlin's 1894 Cowboy Ltd. Edition / .45LC. The 20" octagon barrel and receiver are deep blued and the receiver is engraved on both sides with a gold washed mounted cowboy on the left side. The bore is bright and shiney-like new. The engraving is tastfully done - not garrish looking like some. The stock is beautifully grained and checkered, then finished with a tough clear-coat gloss finish. It makes for an incredible package! This rifle has been a safe-queen. It has a veryy low round count, and shows NO wear or damage to either the steel or stock. I find this rifle to be very accurate and it has a smooth action. ..a pleasure to own and shoot.
This is not a "JM" rifle, but a limited edition 1 of 1500 made by "REP" ( Ruger, I believe). The fit and finish and quality of parts are second to none! This is probably the most beautiful rifle I have ever owned. It's tough to part with, but I have to shrink my collection.
