Description:
From a mid-west estate sale, a BSA Martini International model 22 cal. with a 28" heavy barrel (see photos). At the sale they said this gun was made in the 1950's, was bought new, outfitted with the scope and only fired a few times before being locked away for decades. The blued steel shows no wear or blemish. The gloss finish of the wood of the stock has a few dents, dings and handlining marks of a 70 year old rifle and it has the original, undamaged BSA butt plate. The action is tight and crisp with an excellent trigger and a new looking bore (I have not cleaned or taken this rifle apart). I can find no fault with this gun and appears to be unaltered and exactly as it was when Dwight Eisenhower was President (see photos). The J Unertl 10 power target scope has straight cross hairs, clear ottics and metal, screw on, lens covers. The scope and mounts appear to have been installed when the gun was new (see photos). At the sale they said this rifle came standard with the the target blocks mounted on the heavy barrel. As well as the scope mount blocks the rifle come with an mounting block at the muzzle for a globe front sight and a side mount receiver block for mounting a peep sight. They had no other information about this rifle at the sale and I have no way to authenticate its history; therefore, I am offering this Beautiful Rifle with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
