Here's a very sharp Model 70 SUPER GRADE in exceedingly scarce 22 Hornet caliber. It's an early post war gun of S/N 107321 with matching scribed bolt made in 1949.
I am rating the Blue at about 96%, due to some scattered light freckles along the barrel and on the floorplate, which also shows some carry/ring wear, and am pricing the rifle accordingly. The Varnish is a strong 97% with just a few minor marks. All original and correct components throughout, supporting both the Super Grade configuration and the scarce 22 Hornet caliber, which are best explained by the many detailed photos. In addition, I have personally verified the chamber to be certain it has NOT been reamed out to the tragic and all too common "K" Hornet, which significantly devalued so many of these fine guns. The bore and mechanical functions are all in fine shape too. Not perfect, but far better than most and likely the best price you'll see for a legit 22 Hornet Super Grade as nice as this one.
