This Saginaw Model U.S. Carbine M1 is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30 Carbine Cal. It has an 18-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 3409139. The barrel is stamped "UNDERWOOD 8 - 44". This WWII Era lightweight short, barreled battle rifle was issued to paratroops, equipment drivers and officers in battle theaters around the globe. It comes with 1 magazine. .30 Carbine
