This is a Grade I, BAR model rifle manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique National for Browning and assembled in Portugal with a production date of 1990. The large caliber semi-auto rifle retains about 85-90% of the original blue finish on the barrel and closer to 80% on the receiver which shows silvering on the high edges and the lower carry points above the magazine with a mottled spotted appearance with overall light use marks. The forearm and stock have scattered contusions and scratches with a 5 inch long crack along the left side of the forearm that shows previous repairs but will require attention before heavy use. Mechanically it appears to function properly and has the scope bases installed ready for rings and optics. These rifles were built without provisions for open sights. FFL SOLD |
