Synopsis: Mauser Hsc, French Assembly, 967000, A-1850 Description: This Mauser HSc was assembled using Nazi-era parts after WII by the French. The left side if the slide has the Mauser banner followed by the late war 2-line address referencing the manufacturer, model and caliber. Safety with “S” and red dot (fire). Full serial number on bottom of front strap with French assembly inspection on the left side of the trigger guard web. Walnut panels with impressed checkering. Correct magazine with 7 indicator holes and unmarked, round nose floorplate. Disassembly shows an unnumbered slide and barrel marked “846”. Condition: Good original blue with wear pattern reflecting moderate-heavy use. Comparable condition grips, dark, oil stained with numberous handling marks, the left panel missing a small chip at forward tip. Comparable condition magazine. Correct manual mechanics.
