Description:
This rifle is a real stunner. It is a .62 Hawken rifle with Premium Tiger Maple stock. Grain is gorgeous. The rifle has been used, but very well maintained. Browning on the .44 barrel shows edge wear. The .62 barrel retains most of its brown. The 35" barrels (both) have twist in the mid to high 1:60s. Both bores bright and shiny. The .62 has round bottom rifling. Maker of barrel unknown, but someone may be able to decopher markings (see photos). The Tiger Maple stock has some really nice figure. Checkered at wrist. Iron fittings with two barrel keys. Ron Long lock. Very minimal handling marks. LOP is 14.5 ", so a Big Boy rifle. Sold as a set only, as barrels are custom fit. Weighs 11 lbs with .62 barrel installed. Around 13 lbs with .44 barrel. Package is priced at $2000 + Shipping.
