Made in 1925, swamped rib, Savill Roe, LONDON , Gold safe, unbelievably beautiful bouquet and scroll engraving, maintaining all the barrel blue and wood finish, original canvas case. Originally made for Major General Stuart Vellum Rawlins, he was commissioned by the Royal Artillery , this is a great gun, truly special, straight grip, serrated butt, multipoint flat top checkering, magnificent elongated drop points, splinter forend, clean and tight, Just a beautiful gun with little to no use!
