This is a rare Walther P.38 with 480 code on slide and frame, and it still has the original, matching grips! The 480 code pistols were the first serially produced P.38s made by Walther. There were only 7,300 produced! The original bluing rates in the 70-80% range, with high edge wear on the muzzle and both sides of the slide, and some more on the front strap. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Safety works but does not de-cock. The rig includes two total magazines - one is an original but mismatched 480 example, the spare is a Mauser mag. The rig is completed by a shoulder holster that is not marked.
