For your consideration, a Steyr Mannlicher-Schönauer Modell 1905 chambered in 9x56 Mannlicher-Schönauer. Renown for its smoothly cycling bolt, the Mannlicher-Schönauer was a favorite of prolific sportsmen the likes of WDM Bell and Ernest Hemingway. On this example, the factory rear sight dovetail has been plugged, and the bolt shroud has been fitted with a Lyman No. 1A peep sight. A previous owner has applied red nail polish to the otherwise unlabeled safety flag. None
