We are offering for sale a WWI era ENFIELD Model 1914 (P14) bolt action rifle chambered in 303 British caliber. This is a an example in very good condition. This gun was purchased with the original cosmolene coating. I lightly cleaned the rifle but there is still cosmolene in protected areas.
26" barrel is very good with nice finish. It is import marked by "CAI" on the right side of the muzzle. The bore remains clean with crisp rifling. The action remains very good with crisp marks; Broad arrow and "G.R" mark on left side. Crown features star in circle mark. Gun functions flawlessly. Original stock is good with scattered field wear; No breaks or cracks noted. Metal buttplate good with oxidation wear.
