Description:
SOLD PENDING RECEIPT OF FUNDS. This is a beautiful example of an Ithaca NID 20 gauge (1935) with 98% of it's case coloring intact and nice wood. 26" barrels have a solid rib and are choked Improved Cylinder (1) and Modified (2). LOP is 13.75", DAC is
1 1/2", DAH is 2 3/8", weight is 6lb. 8oz. This gun was not your average field grade NID and features a single trigger, barrel selector and extractors. Matching serial numbers on barrels, forend and receiver. Screw heads on receiver don't appear to have ever been turned and gun shows no rust or corrosion. This generation of NID can be used with modern ammo. Original Ithaca "sunburst" pad was replaced with a reproduction a few years back by my gunsmith. When photographing the gun for the listing I noticed a small crack in the stock by the receiver (see pic) that has probably been there since my family purchased the gun in the 1970's. $60 flat rate shipping insured to your FFL and I provide a three day inspection period to Buyer from date of delivery.
