Description:
This was not a safe queen and yet it is marvelous condition. The defects are very minor and are mostly the scratches received in handling. This one features a hardwood stock, clean impressed checkering, low profile open sights, and provision for scope. The Glenfield line of rifles was introduced as the no-frills Marlin and was marketed primarily through chain stores and mail order houses in the form of house brands as well as the Glenfield brand. The same great barrel, reliability, and workmanship. This was manufactured around 1980 according to the s/n. .30-30 Winchester

Metal Condition: Very good. There are a couple of scratches and a little "bloody thumbprint" pitting (at the carry point.) Very ell-maintained for a woodsman's favorite rifle.
Wood Condition: Very good to excellent. There are a few very shallow handling marks.
Bore Condition: Shiny and has good rifling.
Barrels: 20-1/2 inches
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
