ADDITIONAL DESC: A good condition, 100+ year old sporterized Remington military rifle. The wood stock has been replaced with a high cheek piece walnut stock. There is also a US Marine emblem and Corporal stripes imbedded in the butt stock. The stock is in too nice of condition to have ever been used in the field. The six groove rifling is in near perfect condition, with NO (!!!) pitting in the groves. The rifle has an un-loaded weight of just under nine pounds. The action has also been modified to be a cock on open action. There are no importer markings on the rifle. Sorry, but we do not have the factory box, paper work, ammunition, spent brass, reloading dies, cleaning kit, or any other tools or accessories for the rifle. While the rifle has been cleaned, lubed and inspected by our gunsmith, it has not been test fired.
