Johann Marner Saaz - Full Sidelock, SxS, 28ga. 28" Barrels Choked M/IC.
Reinforced sculpted frame with side clips, matte rib, its engraved in gold inlay, with geometrical patterns on top of the receiver and barrels, prof’d in 1907 in Vienna, original sling loops on barrel and stock, 100% case color, non-automatic safety, cross bolt, double trigger, gold inlayed cocking indicators, German drop points, double trigger extractor, long tang, case colored trigger guard with all case coloring, a horned buttplate and grip cap, perfect screws, third fastener, foreign forend tip, the sidelocks are game scene engraved , game follow on left lock all surrounded by scroll and the right lock has fox flushing pheasants, small bore European prewar guns are almost never available and we very seldom see a full sidelock gun and especially a gun of this very high quality.. It's cased in a French fitted Huey case with all accessories included and oak and leather. This is a very elegant gun with the gold inlays and semi relief engraving which makes for a truly outstanding combination.
