Description:
26 inch octagon barrel chambered in desirable 45-70 caliber. Barrel and full length mag are a gray/brown patina. Sights include a Lyman ivory bead front and an "1886" marked folding ladder rear. Fair dark bore. Case colored receiver is a mottled gray patina. Hammer and lever retain traces of case color. Very crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some minor handling mars. Hard rubber shotgun buttplate. A nice honest old Winchester from 1891.
