Description:
Very clean example of the 1894 round barrel take-down version in 38-55 caliber. Most of the original bluing is still there with some thinning on the barrel on the muzzle end. I won't call the wood "up-graded " but I think it is better than average for figuring with no splits or gouging. Normal handling dings is it. The extra great feature on this on is the bore. Excellent shiny bore with strong rifling. I have actually test fired this rifle and it is amazingly accurate. Upgraded front sight to boot. I believe this rifle to be 100% original and as solid as a rock. Thinning my personal collection ask discussed with the Mrs. Pictures tell the story and more if needed on request.
