Description:
Dakota model 76 Safari Left-Hand bolt action rifle chambered in .300 Win Mag. This rifle is a one owner that was used to hunt plains game in Africa one time then retired to the safe. Made just the way you would want to order it with a standing rear sight and front sight with bead and folding “night” sight on the 23” barrel; barrel band front sling swivel stud and inletted rear stud; select Walnut stock with Rosewood forearm tip, shadow line cheek piece and factory recoil pad making the LOP at 13 ½”. Also, jeweled bolt; safari stock design allowing an extra round in the magazine and Talley QR scope bases.
Condition-wise this gun has been very well cared for, but it does show a few “rub” marks in the wood finish and a couple of barrel blue fade spots on the top about 3” ahead of the barrel band. These could have been from a gun rest while in Africa. Perfect bore and perfect operation. Weighs 8 lbs. 3 oz. without scope.
