Description:
This is a hinge up release to load and eject empty cartridges. The left side of the barrel is marked AL SPIRLET & Cie with a Crown over U and serial number 5514. Right side barrel is marked ACIER FONDU. The cylinder is marked Crown over U and the ELG with a star within the oval. The grips appear to be ebony and are in excellent condition. It has a 5 ¾” barrel and is about 10 5/8” overall. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is excellent bright and shiny. This revolver is finished in the white and was made between 1870 and 1875.I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE?
