This USED Uberti 1873 Short Rifle is chambered in .357 magnum and is arguably the most famous American-made rifle in history. The 1873 Winchester lever-action rifle was successfully marketed as "The Gun That Won the West." this firearm was so popular was that it remained in production until 1923. A big reason for the popularity of the 1873 Winchester was its chambering in popular caliber cartridges that matched revolvers of the time. It was used in both rifles and side arms making it so that only one type of ammunition was needed. The rifle features a straight grip stock, a 20" blue octagon barrel, a forged steel case colored receiver, lever and hammer, and a blued butt plate. Includes original box. .357 Magnum
