Description:
Up for sale is an originally configured, straight pull Canadian Ross model 1905 MK II***.  This unit was issued at one point to the Royal Canadian Garrison Artillery as indicated in the markings on the butt. In 1917 Canada sold approximately 20,000 MK II*** rifles to the US for to serve as trainers. This is one of those units. It is marked accordingly with “flaming bomb” & “U.S.” stampings on the grip.

Overall good condition with some loss of finish on receiver as noted in the pictures however, a good to very good finish is found on the remainder of the metal surfaces.  Stock is in its original condition with numerous markings and stamps. There is a gunsmith repaired area near the cutoff as seen in the pictures.  Bore is a little on the dark side with strong rifling.  This is gun is a bolt-action rifle that will hold 5 rounds.

Included with this rifle is a US property marked bayonet and US property marked scabbard.  The blade is in the original, unsharpened condition.
