The original owner purchased two of these rifles and kept this one as a back up, only test firing a few times. It has never been hunted with but has been to the range a few times.
This is one of the early models that has had the bolt lock recall performed. (The early ones had a spring loaded bolt retainer that was not very reliable. The spring was replaced by a knurled thumbscrew that locks the bolt securely into the action).
