Overall Condition: Pistol is in good working condition with sign of use/wear. Frame finish is mostly intact with some loss along the edges of the frame and trigger guard. Slide has sign finish loss along top, sides, and near the bore. Overall Pistol would fall into roughly 80% overall condition.
Additional Notes: The Smith & Wesson Model 59 was manufactured from 1971 to 1982. It was released in 1971 to meet the market demand for a high capacity version of the S&W 39. Production ended in 1982 when it was replaced by the second generation models, the Smith & Wesson 459 and Smith & Wesson 659.
