Description:
Offered for sale is this very nice,very uncommon Hunter Special 410 of which less than 300 were made. These were boxlock shotguns made by the same craftsmen that were making the LC Smith guns. This one is all original and unrestored with more than half the case color remaining, screws in good shape, no cracks in wood and much varnish remaining. Some varnish worn off and there is a crack across the original buttplate as seen in pics. Very desirable in 410 caliber. The Hunter Specials have the same rotary locking bolt as the side lock LC Smiths. The other boxlock models don't have this feature. The specs are 26 inch barrels, as all 295 had, IM, F chokes, 2 ¼ 1 ¼ drops and 14 lop. Rare gun for half what a 410 field grade would cost you. Questions call 3304661092. Thanks for looking.
