I'm pleased to offer my very very rare 12 gauge German SXS Clamshell style action. Double bite. EJECTORS. 30" M/F. On face. Tight, even when you remove the forearm. Barrels ring. Action has been gone through by gun smith cleaned well and lubricated.
Reciever is covered in scroll. Actually, most of the gun is. Good screws. Horn butt plate ( small chip) horn inlay in forearm. Chamber indicators. Very nice crisp trigger pull. Krupp Steel barrels. Greener crossbolt safety.
Straight English stock has been smacked, cracked and repaired but it does not flex on OR off the receiver. Wood has random dings and scratches and has been refinished at some point but you can still see the checkering. Wood to metal fit is still great.
Pretty good bores. No real chamber pitting or anything detrimental to the gun. Been nitroproofed. Bluing is thin but metal
condition is good. Nickle plating on action is good.
Gun is ready to shoot, hunt with or restore. It's rare. You'll probably not see another. It's the coolest conversation piece I've ever had. Locks up nicely. Other small various imperfections, but fully functional and complete. Go find another. I've looked for years.
Been sitting on this for years but it's time to let it go to someone who will appreciate it.
