Description:
This Savage Model 99R .300 savage is in very good condition for its age. Manufactured in 1942, the metal has some bluing loss on the receiver and two or three pin sized marks on the barrel. No rust is visible. Fore end has three or four small indentations but no cracks. The stock has about twelve to fifteen small indentations and the letters JMB carved into the stock above the trigger, but no visible cracks. Action works well. Very nice gun for a good price. .300 Savage
