For sale from my Dad and I's personal collection is a stunning MINT condition Belgian Browning Superposed Pigeon 20 gauge in the desirable Field Configuration with the round knob pistol grip and long tang trigger guard. My assumption is that this is an older Browning restock/restoration as it is salt free and has the long tang trigger guard which was discontinued in 1966. I have had this gun completely disassembled and it is pristine internally.
The quality of this gun is exceptional. The wood and engraving are magnificent and show absolutely no signs of use or wear and the checkering is razor sharp. Mechanically the gun is also as new, lever is far right of center and the gun will not break open without the use of both hands, it is extremely tight and seems to have not been fired outside of the factory. There are also no takedown marks on the underside of the barrels!
Barrels measure 26.5" and are stamped Modified over Improved Cylinder, they measure Improved Modified over Modified with a choke gauge.
