For your consideration, the Colt Police Positive revolver chambered in .38 Special. The Police Positive as evident by the name was initially designed for law enforcement use. The first models being manufactured in 1907 (.32 caliber) and production of the (.38 Spc) began in 1908. This model was an early model, based on the serial number manufactured in 1909.
