Description:
Very nice later 18th century horse pistol in very nice condition. Name on lock assembly is very hard to read. Could be Ottoman, greek, turkish.Just cant make out the style of lettering. Over all shows wear mostly from age. Bottom rear of trigger gaurd show what appears to be the date of 1777. Bore is 65-68 caliber. Functions just fine and has a great patina. Nicely engraved and carved. Was most likely a fighting pistol by the very promenent pommel . Please see all pictures. Will make a fine addition to any collection.
