This rifle was made in 1947. Has a 2 line Chicopee Falls barrel address. Has a 24 inch barrel, with a very good bore. Has a semi buckhorn rear sight with blade front sight. Metal and barrel blue are excellent showing no rust or marks. A couple of the edges show very fine thinning of finish. Equipped with a brass counter. Receiver tang is drilled and tapped from factory for a peep sight. Lever showing much color (see pictures).  Has a schnabel type forearm with checkering and a few very minor pressure marks on bottom. Buttstock is also excellent with checkering, grip cap, and a steel buttplate retaining 95% of bluing. wood shows no evidence of cracks or repairs. Comes equipped with sling swivels. LOP is 13-1/4 inch. A very fine gun indeed. Has no box or papers. No sales to California or where prohibited. Check local and state laws prior to purchase. Must ship to FFL.
