Serial #ACT7859, .38 Special, 1 7/8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Smith & Wesson model 60 Chiefs Special revolver. In excellent condition the revolver is like new in the original box. The stainless steel surfaces rate excellent with 99% plus of the original finish remaining and showing only light handling marks. The smooth combat trigger and service hammer retain full hard chrome finish. The checkered walnut factory round butt Magna grips with silver S&W medallions rate excellent. The functioning of this fine J-frame revolver is excellent with correct timing and lockup. It comes in the original factory box that is correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun, cleaning kit, manual and paperwork. The Chiefs Specials were well regarded by law enforcement and civilians alike. An excellent Chiefs Special!
