Description:
Hammerless Sidelocks - Fantastic history and with very shootable dimensions this is a Purdey that needs to be kept in the field. Completed in September 1911 for Prince Henry of Prussia. See scans of the Purdey letter and a copy of their ledger. Fascinating!
*Probably as a result of being in the USA for sometime , the chambers of this Purdey have been lengthened to 2 3/4" to accept American shells. There is some light pitting in places on both barrels, hard to see as they have been blued over.
