This is a Remington 1858 New Model cap and ball revolver in 44 cal. It features a 8” barrel and comes with an original holster, ammo pouch and a copy of the issued soldiers discharge papers from the Civil War June 8th 1865. This revolver is very honest and in original condition. This war relic is complete other than the front sight. It is as you see with heavy patina. While we are not selling it as a functional gun it could be easily restored to working condition.
