Signed on side of top strap “KURT JAEGER. MAINZ”. Tight relief floral scroll engraving with copious gold inlaid bordering. Lovely relief “BEAR’S HEAD” inlay on frame as well as a monogram “S” on the obverse. Near mint with all the blue. Near unfired. Perfect working order. Superb example by one of the greatest and most famous 20th Century firearms engravers and brother of Paul Jaeger
