Payment Types Accepted: Cashier's Check, US Postal Money Order, Credit Card Description: The Enfield N.9 Mk 1 was manufactured by Parker-Hale for use by the Royal Navy. Converted from the .303 Rifle No.4 Lee-Enfield rifle, only about 3,000 single shot, rim fire .22 trainers were produced, making this rifle rather scarce. The N.9 Mk1 was first adopted in 1956 and production ended in 1960. This rifle is dated 1960 as referenced by the markings on the left side of the receiver. The “A” prefix in the serial number designates its use by the Royal Navy. The rifle came with a solid, Parkerifled barrel (not sleeved), a rim fire bolt and a magazine casing used to collect spent shells. The rear-sight on the Navy issue rifle used a standard No.4 sight leaf with an additional 25-yard calibration on the left-hand side of the elevation slide. Numerous proof marks are visible throughout the rifle. This unit retains 90% blue, has a very good bore, and is number matching numbers. The finish is excellent overall. The stock is good with visible tiger striping, with minor dings, scratches, and compression dents. Comes with a USGI sling. This unit would make a nice addition to a military training rifle collection.
