Description:
1968 Colt National Match Target pistol chambered in 45 Auto with a 5" barrel. This is a Pre-70 Series colt with the original high-polish royal blue finish and match grade barrel. This gun also features an adjustable Elliason rear sight with a fixed front, adjustable target style trigger, gold Rampant Colt medallions inset into each grip panel. The left slide is marked "NATIONAL / MATCH", "COLT", "AUTOMATIC / CAL. .45." with a rampant colt. The right of the slide is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.". These pre "70 Series" Gold Cups are considered by many to be the most desirable of the Gold Cup National Match pistols that Colt produced. Comes in excellent condition with one colt stamped magazine. Kart Sporting Arms .22 1911 Blue 6" Colt Conversion Unit. The front sight is a patridge blade screwed to the full-length rib on top of the barrel shroud. The rear sight is a square-notch adjustable for windage and elevation pinned to the rear of the rib. The rib is integral to the barrel shroud. Comes with the side stop lever. This slide will show some minor handling marks with along with light high edge wear. .45 Auto
