Description:
The modern SIG SAUER® P250 was first introduced in 2007 in 9X19mm only. It was the predecessor of the P320, with the major difference being that the P250 was specifically designed as a DAO (Double Action Only). In 2008, it became available in .45 ACP, with the rest of the calibers close to follow. It was a radically new kind of pistol that passed along the famous SIG SAUER quality. The performance, the accuracy and the reliability put into a next generation type pistol, opening the door to a new range of possibilities. The P250 was eventually available in a wide range of calibers including .380 ACP, 9X19mm, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45 ACP. The pistol is available in 3 different sizes, Full, Compact, and Subcompact. The Sig P250 is a short recoil, lock breech, semi-automatic, DAO action pistol, with Sig's cam operated locking barrel system. The ambidextrous safety, 4 rail cycling system, and under the barrel Picatinny rail, make it a great pistol with attractive amenities. The P250 was made to be a truly ambidextrous pistol, sporting an ambidextrous slide catch lever and user reversible magazine release button. Any other operating controls are made to allow them to be operated from both side. The firearm can be field stripped without any gear. 9mm Luger
