Ithaca imported these rifles from Erme Werke in West Germany during the late 1970s. The rifles were an Erme Werke design that simulated the Marlin and Browning designs and eventually was at least partly adopted by the Henry Corporation. They are noted to be very high quality rifles with very high marks for accuracy. This one is a straight stock carbine with 18-1/2 inch barrel and an overall length of 36-1/2 inches.
