SN: 1347157. Semi-automatic U.S. military rifle made by Winchester in 1943. Standard 24"" barrel chambered for .30-06. Rifle has a Springfield barrel dated March of '43, and was likely assembled with it originally. Great bore with strong rifling and only a hint of frosting. Gas cylinder appears to have been cleaned. Stock is a replacement with no cartouches. Buttplate has some surface rust and is undersize, indicating it probably came off the original stock. Rear of receiver appears to have been cleaned and refinished. Rest of receiver, barrel and floorplate have about 80% original finish. Stock compartment contains cleaning rods and tool. Action functions correctly.
