I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Hopkins & Allen Arms Hammerless Double Action Revolver, marked on the top of a 3.1/4" round ribbed barrel: “HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO. NORWICH CT. U.S.A./PAT. JANY 5. OCT.5.86. SEPT.26.93”. ca, mid 1890s. Chambered for .38 S&W with 3.1/4 round ribbed barrel with a shinning bore with few light grainy spots with sharp rifling, 5 round flutted cylinder with clean chamber. Good crisp action with good timing indexing very well. Original nickel finish rates 75%. Original hard rubber grips are very good. Low serial number is marked on the butt attesting of an early production. Hopkins & Allen Arms as well produced all the famous line of Merwin & Hulbert revolvers. The top breaks open, activating the automatic ejector. This one also includes a neat little safety on the back strap that looks like a small wheel. These latter revolvers have been increasingly recognized for their unique design and high-quality manufacture.The old ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale..
