Description:
This 1880 to 1890's holster, showing the OLIVE Brand on the top loop of the holster. The OLIVE stamp was a often seen name in the 19th century, and many big bore guns went into them. This fully lined, double loop boarder roller stamped brown leather holster fits a Colt 1873 revolver with a 4 3/4 or 5 1/2 inch barrel. The bottom loop is marked (L32G). (L) stands for "Lined". The 32G is the model number. The holster is in overall very good plus condition. All the main seam stitches intact with no rips, cracks or tears. The leather is fully alive and could be used, although I feel it should be preserved and displayed. It would be perfect to display with you antique Colt.
