Rossi Model 92 SRC Rifleman Rifle.
I have been transforming these Original 1892 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine’s into the Rifleman’s Rifle just like what was used on the TV show “The Rifleman” staring Chuck Connors, which aired from 1958 to 1963.
I mainly only work on Original Winchester 1892s but on occasions I will do a Rossi. If I find one in great shape and without the new model safety.
This Rossi SRC 44-40 rifle took several months to transform into the Rifleman Rifle.
The wood was in great shape the Rifle functioned properly. It will now work just like what was on the show, with the addition of the Rifleman’s large loop and set screw you can fire this rifle as fast as you can cock the lever.
The lever has been case hardened by Turnbull Restorations.
It is in excellent Mechanical condition.
