Description:
"Serial number 429.Made in 1874. 45LC caliber with a barrel just over 4 ¾" in length. The barrel has been shortened and various small parts like the ejector rod housing and a couple of screws are replaced. The metal has scattered light pitting and a light gray patina. Grips are well used one piece ivories with the corners broken out on the left hand side. This gun was given by Pancho Villa to Nicholas Montiel. This gun comes with two letters from the Montiel family attesting that their grandfather/ father was given this gun circa 1915 when he was a 11 year old boy by Pancho Villa after looking after his horses. Along with the letters are family pictures of the two authors of the letters along with a copy of the marriage license of Nicholas Montiel. There are also three pictures of Mr. Nicholas Montiel. Very neat Pancho Villa Owned Single Action!
