"Serial number 58301. Made circa 1930s. 7.63 caliber with a 5" barrel. This gun has a approximately 50% of the original finish. The stock is a modern replacement. e Chinese held the Mauser C96 in the highest esteem and made many unauthorized copies, most w/ out manufacturer identification, as per this example. The pistol resembles a full size late 1930 Commercial C96 in having a stepped bbl. reinforcement forward of chamber & a lg. Mauser banner logo on the left frame. As true for the Mauser, it has a 5.5"" bbl. w/ a fixed front sight & a slip in rear sight graduated from 50-1000.
